This is how a dehati/village-type addresses his wife...or at least that is what Bollywood would have us believe, never mind that said lady has a name or may not have children or they may not be named Chunnu or Munnu...

The proper response from the lady is to shout out a long "Jiiii" and then come running, pallu covering her head

Usage

US Return Villager: Chunnu, Munnu's Mom!!!!

List all election promises made by the 20-odd parties in a coalition, sum them up, wait for most of them to cancel each other out and the few things left constitute the CMP.

Considering the fact that a coalition perfectly reflects the dictum WALTO and includes everyone from free-market religious fundamentalists to Marxist atheists, it is actually astonishing that the CMP is not an empty set.

The CMP, mostly though, is a collection of ambiguous & uncontroversial musings rather than a real set of actionable policy statements (See example below)

Usage

Headline: The UNP under Dr. Manmohan Singh included a promise to "fully empower" women under its CMP.

Left-handed wrist spinners, who are much rarer than right-handed wrist-spinners, are called chinaman bowlers, after an early left-arm finger spinner of Chinese descent, Ellis Achong, who sometimes bowled wrist spinners as a variation while playing for the West Indies. A ball delivered in this way will spin from the off-side to the leg-side for a right-handed batsman. Paul Adams of South Africa is the best-known current chinaman bowler, though he no longer features in his country's national side. Australian one-day all-rounder Brad Hogg is another current exponent of left-arm wrist-spin, as is his teammate, batsman Simon Katich. Beau Casson, another Australian is another fine left arm chinaman bowler.

Usage

Chinaman bowlers have been known to chuck a bad googly on occasion.
