Journo speak for India's Finance ministry and its top officers who work out of the north one of the two blocks of the Union Government secretariat, New Delhi.

The journos who like to call certain stuff in their own peculiar ways, like calling themselves the 'fourth estate', always want to sound esoteric. They prefer a South Block, a Writer's building, Raisina Hills, 10 Downing Street and so on than a simple official identity for the stuff, making the ordinary newspaper-reading aam admi scratch his head every time such expressions crop up in the news stories.

Journo to Editor on phone: "Yes sir, I am already at the North Block sir. No sir, the camera man says you told him to meet me at the South Block sir. But the Finance Minister is at Raisna Hills, Sir. What do I do now sir?"
