Definition

"Hello" is a versatile word in the Indian vocabulary. Besides being used as a greeting, it is also commonly used as an exclamation to express shock, surprise and even anger.

Usage

Karthik, walking down the road with his wife Kamala and friend Vignesh sees a pretty girl walking past them.
Karthik (to Vignesh): "Macha! Saw her aa?"
Kamala : "HELLO?! Shamelessly you're sighting?"
Vignesh : "haha, you're a gone case only!"
