A devilishly misleading bureaucratic expression familiar to any hapless common man who's ever been to a government office. The primary purpose of those two words imply that while all hope isn't lost, stuff just ain't gonna get done, unless of course there's some quality chai-paani involved. In the latter case, your matter gets bumped up by a full notch to being "under ACTIVE consideration".
Usage
Ram: Sir, any progress on the passport issuance?
Officer: My senior was away on a vacation so it might take another month. Bu don't worry, your application is under consideration!

Definition
A reverent term for anyone from the land of Five rivers (Punjab), most typically used by and for our big-hearted, hard-working, turban-sporting brothers - the Sardars. Not to be confused with Hindi word for mischievous, this courteous phrase implies almost the opposite of mischief. Paaji is the Punjabi equivalent of Uncleji or Bhaisaab in other parts of the Northern plains.

A rather sloppy abbreviation for testimonials, that found its way into the popular lingo of cyber-Indians through the largely defunct Orkut. The rather striking reference to mail-genitalia aside,it consists of mostly made-up crap about love, friendship, internet-memes, annoying emoticons, and embarrassing anecdotes about friends, brothers, sisters or even teachers.Having an Orkut account without one such testi amounted to being a social outcast.
Usage
Ram: ahh.. I can finally relax. after a whole year of being ignored I finally got a couple of testis from my friends.

Coy Indian women use the phrase to talk about their hubby dearest, as its considered a travesty to call husbands by their first names in certain parts of the motherland. Literally translates into " My him", thus treading a thin line between polite, vague and romantic (or even, daintiness).
Usage
Ram: Hi Seema. Had lunch?
Seema: not yet. Mere woh aayenge, then only I will eat.

Possibly the biggest manufacturer of Diwali firecrackers in India. Popular varieties include, but are not limited to 100wala, atom bomb, ground chakkars, flower pots, rockets, electric sparklers, skyshot. Also, makers obviously never intended to market the said crackers in other English-speaking countries. For best results, Cock brand items should be properly warmed up under the bright sun for at least 4-5 hours prior to usage.
