Originally "I will tell your name to teacher"
it got shortened to "I will tell your name" so that it could be sung in a catchy, repetitive singsong tune more easily!

Usage

Mona was doing her home work in class.
On seeing, Sneha:"I will tell your name to teacher!"
Rest of the class looks up and joins in "I will tell your name! I will tell your name!"
