Translation: Hello...did you hear?

This is what a traditional marathi baiko (coy or khaDoos doesn't matter) will universally prefix with any sentence she would ever say to her navra. This is the only way to let her navra know that she is talking to him....coz she is not supposed to call out his name....and he will seldom look at her to understand the aakhon ki bhasha.

Usage

Aho eykla ka....kaande khatam ho gaye hai. Office se aate waqt leke aana...nahi to kal subah nashte mein kande pohe nahi faqt pohe se kaam chalana.

(We ran out of onions. Do get some while coming back from work lest you want to eat pohe instead of kande pohe for tomorrow's breakfast. Hello...do you hear that?) Did you notice how Baikos are quite sure that there Navras won't listen to them in the first go and that they'll have to repeat themselves, so they prefer prefixing "aho eykla ka" than suffixing to avoid repeating the whole ram kahani again. Bole to ekdum smart!
