English speaking elders in the south call you a durty-goose if:
- you don't take a head bath after a haircut
- if its like, an hour after you woke up and you STILL have not had your bucket bath or shower bath
- if you use your left hand for anything
- if you use badwords with your elders...

You get the general idea, right? Ususally accompanied by the excalmation "chchay!"

Usage

What! 8:30 am and no bath yet? Chchay chchay durrrrty goose. Go take bath this minute!

Definition

For Southies, anybody that's not from the states of Andhra, Karnataka, Tamil nadu and Kerala is a naaarthindian. Never mind that an oriya and andhr-ite might have more in common than an oriya and say, kashmiri - this homogenous mass is generally held by Maddus to be universally hindi- speaking, chaalu, fair, roti- and paneer-eating, generally business oriented rather than acedmically oriented, and show-offish. And of- their masalas are different.

Usage

Sentamizhazhagi - What is this dish?
Bhaskaran - something naarthindian - see, it has a hindi name and just smell that masala. Must be the latest the money-making idea for those business-minded naarthindians... we still are stuck on Idli-dosa!

Definition

This suffix is attached to verbs in any local language, to convert said verb into english, and hence preserve one's notion of being too cool to talk desi. Of course no non-desi english speaker would understand the word, but as in all things desi, its the effort and intent that matters.

Usage

Ash (ashok) Hey man the house doesn't look clean na? Did the bai jhaadofy?
Swats (swati) she did but she didn't poncha-fy only! total timepass she thinks this job is!
