CTBT stands for Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty - a treaty whose signatories agree to ban testing nuclear weapons, etc.

Also used by disgusted cricket fans when the national team loses Test matches. CTBT then stands for Cricket Test Ban Treaty. The disillusioned fans write to newspapers and websites about what ails Indian cricket and how they suspect match fixing.

Usage

Ramu: "How shameful man. India lost the test series 4-0 against England. I strongly suspect match fixing "

Shamu: "You say that every time we lose."

Ramu: "I will write a letter to Times of India."

Shamu: "No use yaar. We should sign the CTBT."

Ramu: "What is that?"

Shamu: "Cricket Test Ban Treaty. He, he, he."
