Usage

At the poolside in a resort.
"Daddy, daddy, I am going to have a shower bath... I can enjoy here. At home we can't take this nice shower bath no?"
An elderly and portly woman rises to chase the little guy out of the shower stall. "Chinna, don't take a shower bath here.The water is not at all hot. You will catch a head-cold...," she bellows.
"Daddee! Tell paatti I can have a shower bath..."

Definition

The word Sorpotel is derived from the konkani word Soro which means Alcohol/Liquor. Sorpotel is a Goan Delicacy made from pork liver, pork and butter. It can be served with Sannas. This is a "hot and sour" dish from the Goa on the Western coast of India. The cuisine of this region is in part influenced by the Portugese.

Usage

I went to The Fernandez house in Panjim for Sorpotel and Sannas. They were delicious though pig liver isin't usually my most favorite dish.
