Term given to a beautiful white headed flying scavenging /bird of prey also known as a pariah kite. They are known all over India for swopping down and stealing lunches out of kid hands. The brahminy kite occupies a special place in hindu mythology and is called a Garuda by some or the transport of Lord Vishnu.
