An Indian beggar, comes in the adult male and female form but mostly in children version. They wear torn clothes and are often very dirty looking and unkempt.They emerge at red lights from under flyovers and beg you for your hard earned money so they can eat while you sit there in your car with your windows rolled up and ignore their pleas for help. Very occasionally you give one of them some change and feel like a hero and for sometime believe that the sun really shines out of your gaand.

They also target attack firangs, who are embarrassed by the sheer poverty and spectacle and shamed into giving them money.

Definition

Term used in more than one way:
1. A guy thing - way of saying buddy or dude when amongst friends. Used in a similar manner as maga, macha, yaar. Only used amongst guys and usually adopts the second person form.

2. When middle aged or elderly men use it, it's in extreme anger or rage. It is a more 'decent' substitute for words like 'bastard' for instance, especially if the daughters are around.

1. Avinash: What's up man?! Too much attitude these days after getting that big job aa?
Pradeep: Hey no buggar, just been really busy..my boss is always eating my head so I can't leave at 6 pm anymore.
