Definition

On the surface, this acronym merely suggests the presence or absence of air-conditioning in taxis, trains, restaurants, waiting rooms and other public spaces. However, because of the higher cost of running an A/C version of anything, a cost which is passed on to the customer, there's an implicit class distinction between A/C and non-A/C.

An A/C anything is less likely to contain loafers, rowdies, leches and other antisocial elements, and more likely to have family men, single ladies and boys from good families. Often, single ladies are forced to sit in the A/C room, even if they wish to partake of authentic Indian experiences with the sweaty non-A/C junta.

Usage

"Ladice are coming? Then pliss saar, A/C section wonly."
