Definition

Most commonly used by junior school (class 3 and younger) students threatening to complain to the teacher when a classmate has done some thing they don't like/disapprove of / against the rules.

Originally "I will tell your name to teacher"
it got shortened to "I will tell your name" so that it could be sung in a catchy, repetitive singsong tune more easily!

Usage

Mona was doing her home work in class.
On seeing, Sneha:"I will tell your name to teacher!"
Rest of the class looks up and joins in "I will tell your name! I will tell your name!"

Nonsensical phrase which means : If a lizard makes a 'chuk chuk' noise right after you've said something, then what you say must be true.

Of course, this is a completely superstitious and unscientific statement, considering the fact that no one really knows if lizards have in-built lie detectors. But still, great fun when used to interrupt and irritate those who can faff for hours.

Usage

Iggitating female who will NOT shut up about her bf : "You know I buy sooooo many things for him all the time - clothes, perfumes, books, cd's, and he still won't pick up my call unless he wants to. Even when he does he keeps fighting with me and yelling at me. This has been going on for months. Why Why Why Why Why Why Why? I feel like an idiot"

*Lizard makes chuk-chuk sound at this very opportune moment*

Long-suffering acquiantance : "YES!!! Dekh, chipkali bole toh sach hai! You ARE an idiot - I've told you one few times, dump the moron. Or talk to him instead of eating MY thalle everyday for months, dammit!"
