Christmas. Pronounced as it is spelled 'Ecksmus'.
Taken very seriously in Calcutta and other places with high dingo population.
Taken even more seriously by non Christians who love shouting at each other ''Happy Ecksmus!''
Incidentally, India parties on the 25th evening unlike the western world which parties one day earlier on the 24th. Those firangs are pretty much out of their minds celebrating one day before Jejuss happy birthday.

Indroneel - Hey Dada! Keymon ache? (Hey dada! How are you?)

Deboshish - Bhalo! Just going to park street to celebrate happy xmas.

Indroneel - Cool, be careful of the crowds though, they might crush you to death.
