Originally a term used in the Bangladeshi version of Bengali language, but widely used in day to day bengali.

Literal meaning - The job is done

Actual meaning - Refers to the avalanche of undesirable situations which follows on after something terribly wrong has happened.

Sort of like "OMG! I am dead!" in English.

Usage

A boy has two girlfriends. By mistake both come to meet him at the same time. The boy says "kaam sarse" and flees for his life.. :P

This bongla babu, a famous physicist (1884-1974), lends his name to the type of particles known as bosons, of which one is the Higgs' Boson.
