Definition

A spicy masala-like powder often used as a side for dosas and idlis. The ingredients used to make it are incomprehensible to anyone but people from the South.

It is often mixed with enough enne for a thalai massage.

Usage

Scene from a typical south-indian fast-food joint:
Waiter: Saar... Order pliz?
Customer: One dosa, one idli,two pieces vadai.
Waiter: Saar, no chutney.. You want some curd with that?
Customer: Dai, don't act smart. Put molaga podi with it.
Waiter: Wokay saar...
