Definition

Originally, a reference to a portable device that carried both a tape deck and an FM/AM radio receiver.

Over time has lost this meaning and now means anything that provides "two benefits for the price of one". Now considered an insight into the Indian consumer psyche who is always looking for a little extra when he/she makes a purchase.
