Definition

Practice of pairing many words with another rhyming but meaningless word is quite common in most of South Asia. Like Pyar-Vyar, Khana-vana etc. That leads us to the phrase.

In Kannada the the practice takes the form of Shanti-Geenthi
or Shanthi-Paanthi.

Usage

Party mein Jyaad math piya karo. Shayad Shanthi-Vanti aayegi. (don't drink too much at the party, probably Shanthi or similar may come there.)
