Traditional greeting used by Sikh individuals when they meet one another. It means : God is the eternal truth. Often accompanied by a gesture in which the hands are folded in front of one's chest, similar to the gesture used with the Indian greeting of namaste.


A: "Sat Sri Kal auntie ji!"
B: "Sat Sri Kal puttar. Kinna vadda ho gaya hai tu! (Look how tall you are!)"
