Definition
The cause of much terror, fear, vexation and sleepless nights for many of India's students. The remarks book is a booklet given to school students where the teacher writes "remarks" about the student directed at the students parents. The booklet has to be taken home and shown to the teacher the next day, with the signature of a parent next to the remark.
Usage
Mrs. Jugarajan wrote that Ivan was caught doing unmentionables' in class three times in one week. I think his parents think "unmentionables" is a subject as they signed every single time and he did not have slap marks on his face either.
