Definition

Where you keep money, and if you are broke that's where you hope to keep money and not throw it away like every time.

If you are a gents it is purse.
If you are a ladies, it is a ladies purse.
But if you are a gents and some ladies purses are around, yours is a gents purse.

If you are ladies or gents, no matter what, if you are in the pick pocket business, you are actually picking gents purses from pockets and ladies purses from vanity bags. I am eternally broke and you have no business with me. Haan!

Usage

The privy purse the Maharaja used to get from the government for giving up their provinces must have been a purse of extraordinary dimensions.
