Definition

The ability of Indians to bring forward any action or thought to an earlier time. Used by people in situations where the need of the hour to sound serious and official and often try to take a moral high ground on a subject. Usually this does not result in any favorable outcome as most things eventually do get postponed.

Usage

The Chief Minister of Karnataka had to suddenly prepone his travel to interior Guntur as his pet dog had not eaten any food for over 6 hours. This preponement of the trip left his party workers shattered.
