To take a pangaa with someone is to antagonise that someone by virtue of your words and/or actions. Degree of antagonism invoked can range from mild annoyance to a murderous malevolence, based on the situation. This Punjabi word has now become firmly etched into the nation's lexicon and is used in many parts of the country.
Usage
Vijay : " Yahaha! Guess what I just did. Guess guess!"
Abhinesh : "What menn?"
Vijay : "I put superglue on the teacher's seat! In two minutes he'll come to class and sit down on it without looking, as he always does" *Gives a grin of unholy glee*
Abhinesh : "!!! Mad or what! Why are you taking pangaa with him? He'll give the whole class one giant TC! AND call mother-fother!"
