What: Audience request/public demand on an artist.
Why: To redo, re-enact, re-sing a wah! wah! piece.
Where: A play, a drama, a nautanki a nataka, a ballet, a theater production, a ghazal or a Quavvali concert anywhere in the subcontinent.
In Hindi and Urdu it is "Mukarrar!"
Popular artists rarely oblige you. Not so talented falthu artists often pay and maintain a bunch of chelas in the town just to have them shout 'once more' or 'Mukarrar' when that artist performs.

I am certain, you are familiar with "once more" or "mukarrar".
If you ask me to repeat this whole entry, please do not expect me to treat you with booze.
