Definition
The great big weather pattern - that brings the main rainy season of the year which ends the hot summer. Usually starts around early June in Southern India and gradually moves upwards to blanket all India is a few weeks. Breaks the hot summer weather. There are two monsoons every year in some coastal areas and Sri Lanka.
