At any Goan bakery, the oft-chanted mantra is - "maka pao dhya" (Gimme some pao bread)...Goans carried the same to Bombay, out of sheer habit, asking the baker to give them the pao-bread! Over time, it shortened itself to makapao, denoting a Goan Christian usually. Further shortened to Mac.
That makapao thinks he is a body builder only! One fighter punch I'll give him...
That Sandra from Bandra will go out with a mac only, no. What men! Aaks, no?!

Goans are called this due to the constant hard bread (better known as kadak paos) they eate for breakfast and snacks.
All you maka paos just want to laze and enjoy life.
