Definition 1 of 1
A small, often non-descript, store in a busy bazaar. Fancy stores carry everything an Indian woman's shopping heart desires. Tailoring accessories, sticker bindis galore, glass bangles, the much-needed eyetex and kaajal, and what other tiny treasures, I know not. If you want it, they've got it. These stores are often run by families, and women are just as likely to be behind the cash counter as men.
"You don't have to go all the way to Charminar for bangles. There's a fancy store near the temple on the way to the ghee shop."
