Definition
Thanks to a punishing, exam-orientated education system, most students are required to "take tuition", or extra, personalised classes in subjects they are bad at, or wish to excel in.
In all-boys' schools, tuition classes that feature girls are a precious commodity. Most people have entertaining, slightly disturbing, stories of eccentric or lecherous tuition teachers, God rest their souls. (Tuition teachers are often retired educators, and pass on with great frequency.)
Usage
"I've started maths tuition."
"Any chicks?"
"You idiot, we are chicks."
"Oh yeah, sorry."
