In recent times, something known as the 'Kochi culture' has caught everybody's attention. Well, some might refer to it as cheap, or dirty but, Kochiites(As the like to call themselves), are extremely proud of it.
Well, back to the word, "Tripping". Among the likes of 'Scene Contra' and 'Jango', this is another new slang word which is commonly used by everybody on the streets of Kochi.
NO. This does not mean getting high and getting a 'Trip'. No.
This refers to scooting out of your house and going off to some distant district by Car or Bike(Usually at night). This, is apparently more fun when you do it with your 'buddies'. Kochi slang has now become so popular that Movies have started Adopting it. Typically 'Honey Bee' which is a mindless movie about some kochi lowlifes, having fun and tripping. Yes. I know. Society is messed up.

Usage

"Machaane, let us go tripping to Munnar"
"Goa Tripping, Broh!!"
